About Creative Time Summit

Summit: Stockholm

Creative Time Summit: Stockholm, November 14-15, 2014, at Kulturhuset.
Each year, the Creative Time Summit brings together the world’s most innovative and interesting artists, curators, activists, theorists and writers to debate issues on the boundary between art and social development.

Now, for the first time, the Creative Time Summit is setting out from New York, and the event will be held in association with the Public Art Agency Sweden, at Kulturhuset in Stockholm on November 14–15, 2014.

Questions concerning our public spaces and the meaning of art are complex and require an international perspective. Therefore, we have huge expectations on our collaboration with Creative Time on perhaps the world’s foremost forum for this type of dialogue. Although our organisations are very different, we share the objective of pushing the boundaries and developing new talent when it comes to art in public spaces.

– Magdalena Malm, Director of the Public Art Agency Sweden.
