Browsers & standards
With the aim of functioning with as many different browsers as possible, the National Public Art Council’s website accords with the guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium, W3C.
The latest versions of Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari are highly compatible. Older browsers, such as Explorer 6, work less well since version 6 does not follow the W3C recommendations sufficiently exactly.
The site validates in accordance with HTML 4.0 and CSS 2.0 and the lowest level of resolution is 1024x768 pixels.
Personal data
Personal data that is sent in connection with ordering publications, applying for seminars and suchlike are only retained for as long as it takes the National Public Art Council to expedite the order or deal with the application.
To the extent that payments are involved, the invoicing details are stored in accordance with accounting regulations.
Personal data presented in connection with subscriptions are stored in the council’s subscription register but are not used for any other purpose.
If you wish to change your address details or remove personal data, please contact the webmaster.
Right to request information
You have the right to request information about personal data pertaining to yourself that is in use by the Swedish National Public Art Council.
If you wish to know whether the council has personal data about you, please send a signed application to the National Public Art Council.
Public access to records
The National Public Art Council is a government body. This means that communications addressed to us become official documents to which the public has access.
